I believe that the barriers to reentry evident for system-impacted individuals (including family and friends!) are addressed through the work that HIRE is doing, first and foremost by focusing on the personhood and strengths of our clients. HIRE also leverages our local community in reentry efforts, connecting service providers and clients to one another and leaning on other providers as collaborators in this vision of an integrated and healthy society.
The best part? HIRE services (including individual therapy with me!) are completely FREE. I love working with clients in our shared space to best understand their unique histories, internal reality, personal or community goals, and wishes for the future. Help me help HIRE keep this work moving forward!
HIRE exists to support individuals returning from incarceration as they rebuild their lives—through employment, stability, and community.
Over the past year, we’ve grown rapidly to meet the need. Every day, we are working with individuals navigating some of the most complex barriers: housing instability, gaps in employment, behavioral health challenges, and the realities of reentry.
And we’ve built a model that works.
But growth comes with a cost.
As demand increases, so does the need for staffing, infrastructure, and the resources required to continue delivering meaningful, consistent support. Like many nonprofits, we are navigating a funding landscape that has not kept pace with the level of need.
Giving Day is not just about expanding this work—it’s about sustaining it.
Your support helps ensure that individuals do not lose access to the services, guidance, and opportunities they need to move forward.
