Hub for Integration, Reentry & Employment (HIRE)
Some words from Caleb

As a case manager at HIRE, I see up close how a small amount of support can lead to real outcomes for people who are genuinely trying to improve their situation. The clients we work with are already putting in effort. What they often need is clarity, consistency, and someone who believes in them long enough for things to start moving.

What makes HIRE effective is the way we walk side by side with our clients. We support people through challenges, stay engaged when things get difficult, and do not write anyone off. I see how powerful it is when someone is given belief and structure at the right time. People borrow that belief, and over time they build confidence and adopt that belief as their own.

Supporting HIRE helps ensure this kind of work continues.

If you want to make a direct, practical impact for youth and adults impacted by the justice system, supporting HIRE on Giving Day is an effective way to do that, and one I stand behind based on what I see every day.

The Hub for Integration, Reentry & Employment (HIRE) Story

HIRE exists to support individuals returning from incarceration as they rebuild their lives—through employment, stability, and community.

Over the past year, we’ve grown rapidly to meet the need. Every day, we are working with individuals navigating some of the most complex barriers: housing instability, gaps in employment, behavioral health challenges, and the realities of reentry.

And we’ve built a model that works.

But growth comes with a cost.

As demand increases, so does the need for staffing, infrastructure, and the resources required to continue delivering meaningful, consistent support. Like many nonprofits, we are navigating a funding landscape that has not kept pace with the level of need.

Giving Day is not just about expanding this work—it’s about sustaining it.

Your support helps ensure that individuals do not lose access to the services, guidance, and opportunities they need to move forward.

💥 The first $17,500 will be matched by our partners, Swinerton Builders, CalOptima, Caring Path Foundation, Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial and Bomel Construction
💥 Your gift today has double the impact

This is a moment to step in, stand behind this work, and help ensure it continues.

If not now, when. If not us, who.
