I've had the privilege of working closely with the EXP team and their students long before I joined their board of directors. I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of their programs over the years.
For me, the most meaningful impact of EXP lies in its ability to effect positive change for 1st-generation students, especially in high school and career pathways. Witnessing the transformation of these students as they navigate their futures and discover their passions, and many eventually continue their educational journey with us at CSU Dominguez Hills, fills me with immense pride and reinforces my commitment to EXP's mission.
As an EXP board member, I see the heart of EXP in the opportunities it offers our students. It's about breaking down barriers and opening doors to a brighter future.
