For several years, I have proudly supported HIRE because I deeply believe in its mission to create real, lasting opportunities for individuals returning home after incarceration.
What draws me most to HIRE is its holistic approach by helping people not only find employment, but rebuild dignity, confidence, and stability. I have seen firsthand that my donation makes a real and meaningful impact by directly supporting these life-changing programs and strengthening our community.
I support HIRE because I believe in the potential of every person, the power of community, and the importance of opening doors to meaningful futures. Knowing my support helps restore hope and create lasting change is both humbling and inspiring.
Please consider joining me in supporting HIRE this Giving Day!
HIRE exists to support individuals returning from incarceration as they rebuild their lives—through employment, stability, and community.
Over the past year, we’ve grown rapidly to meet the need. Every day, we are working with individuals navigating some of the most complex barriers: housing instability, gaps in employment, behavioral health challenges, and the realities of reentry.
And we’ve built a model that works.
But growth comes with a cost.
As demand increases, so does the need for staffing, infrastructure, and the resources required to continue delivering meaningful, consistent support. Like many nonprofits, we are navigating a funding landscape that has not kept pace with the level of need.
Giving Day is not just about expanding this work—it’s about sustaining it.
Your support helps ensure that individuals do not lose access to the services, guidance, and opportunities they need to move forward.
💥 The first $17,500 will be matched by our partners, Swinerton Builders, CalOptima, Caring Path Foundation, Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial and Bomel Construction

This is a moment to step in, stand behind this work, and help ensure it continues.
If not now, when. If not us, who.
