In 2018 I received a call from Yves Masquefa that would change my life and expose me to a world I really had very little insight to. Yves and his wife Jody were beginning a new venture that would combine their love of all things culinary with a intense desire to help women coming out of some of life's most difficult circumstances, primarily the dark world of sex trafficking. Serving on this team for the last 8 years, I have seen women's lives changed dramatically. Through this workforce program, they are able to not only survive, but thrive as they build confidence in their own ability to change their life and dream again. Working alongside other women who know the daily challenges they face affords them an opportunity to build community with others. The pain and challenges of their past unfolds into a new story where they are able to help others going through similar life challenges as they begin to rebuild their lives.
