The Future is Working Giving Day fuels Kherut’s mission to build a stronger workforce in Orange County—Empowering Today, Strengthening Tomorrow. Through career training and long-term employment pathways, we help women move from crisis to confidence and into sustainable independence.

Kherut serves women who have survived sex trafficking, domestic violence, incarceration, addiction, and aging out of foster care. Many have faced significant barriers to employment and stability. We believe lasting freedom begins with meaningful work, practical job skills, and the dignity of earned income.

Each year, we serve 20 women through our paid 420-hour Workforce Training Program. Participants develop essential skills in culinary arts, hospitality, customer service, and administrative support within a safe, trauma-informed environment. Upon completion, women have the opportunity to continue with Kherut in full-time employment or pursue careers with other employers—equipped with the experience, confidence, and professional skills needed to succeed long-term.
